We have traced the Douglass family to John Douglass b. 03.20.1768, presumably in Maryland. Information confirming this or of siblings or his parents would be appreciated. My mothers family is Somerville. James Somerville, b. 1769 near Five Mile town, in Tyron County, North Ireland, is as far as we have gone on her side. My wife Melinda Lyons Douglass' mother is of the Aubley family of Alsace Lorraine, France. We don't yet know too much of her fathers family-Lyons.
