I am reasearching John Douglas whose birthplace, according to records was in Scotland. John married Lucretia Webster who was born in Pennsylvania. John and Lucretia had a son, Byron A. Douglas who married Mary Ellen (Minne) E. Atfield. Byron and Mary Ellen lived in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and according to The Brandford City Directory of 1888 they then lived on Colborne Street. Byron was employed as of 1888 as a book keeper for Bell Telephone Co. Byron and Mary Ellen had Five children, the youngest, Reginald Byron Douglas, born on March 4, 1897 in Brandford, Ont.
