Have recently started investigating my family tree. Have managed to get quite far in most cases fairly quickly thanks to the informative Scottish statuatory registration certificates and a lot of time spent on Scotlandspeople. Starting to get to at least a generation (in terms of death) before statuatory registration so not as easy to match people up. Still have a few awkward branches in this period.
