Notes for BENJAMIN JENNINGS:
Benjamin and Mary Jennings came from England to Canada abt. 1830. They first settled in Tecumseth, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. Within a few years they moved to the Lloydtown area in York County, Ontario where they remained.

In the 1851 Canadian Census the household includes Benjamin, Mary and three sons as well as Joseph Jennings, his wife Elizabeth, and their child Edward. The relationship between Benjamin and Joseph is unclear.

Benjamin appears again in the 1881 Canadian Census but now he is widowed and living alone.

Notes for GEORGE JENNINGS:
George does not appear in the 1871 Canadian Census but there is a Robert listed who fits in age, occupation, religion and, most importantly, location. His household is right next to John Jennings.
