I am researching the ancestors of Robert Harris (lawyer to the City of London c.1825-1850) born in Westminster 24 August 1796. His father was Joseph Harris of that Ilk, and his mother was Flora Macdonald niece of the celebrated Flora Macdonald. He had two older brothers, Joseph Macdonald Harris, Professor of Music, Composer and Music Critic born around 1786. The other brother was Edward Harris a Dramatist and Dramatic Critic.
