Tennessee Ties

As so often happens, many of us grow up knowing little about our forefathers, even though we may be blessed and have both our parents for most of our lives. Many folks just never bother to discuss their families with the children, or discussions are forgotten as those same children age. As this applies to my situation, and my paternal and maternal antecedants, ignorance of our beginnings has become the force behind my quest for knowledge. With the help of some wonderful, generous people, information has come to me, giving me directions in which to search for our ancestors, and atttempt to trace their footsteps back in time.

These pages represent the long hours of research of many people, myself included, and while no promise is made of accuracy, errors that may be found are not made intentionally.

Any additional information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
