I am working on descendants of John Turner of Spartanburg Co. SC Born apt 1738 died bef. 7/5/1813. His son Mathias' oldest son was William Bishop Turner born 1790 and died 11/4/1855 in Spartanburg SC.He had a son Walter Melville Turner born 11/10/1824 died 7/29/1900. Walter had a son Jessie Chrestian Turner born 12/15/1867 died 11/14/1944. Jessie married Rosa Childress 11/3/1895 in Ellis co. Texas. The fifth son of this union was Muncie Byron Turner born 10/23/1902 died 12/18/1977. My husband Lloyd is Muncie's 4th son. I would like to share information with anyone working on this line of the Turner family. |
