The Robert Douglas Family Home Page

I am researching the DOUGLAS family from Appling County, GA and surrounding Counties. Robert Douglas was born in 1790 in Washington County, Ga and died in 1867 in Bacon County, Ga.
He has only one recorded wife that I am aware of. He married Sarah Wheeler,WFT Est. 1812-1842. Robert had a total of 11 Children:Sarah Ann, William H., Nancy, Elizabeth, Robert, Mary, Charles M, Amos, and Michael.

I am looking for any information on Robert's children and their descendents and any information on Robert's ancestors. Robert's Father is thought to be Robert Douglas, Jr, born Bef. 1775. Robert Douglas, Jr wife is Margaret. There is a possibility that Robert Douglas, Jr. and John Douglas, R.S, are the same person.

I am also looking for any information on the ancestors of Henry Hezekiah Douglas, Born in Appling County, Ga around 1826.
His father, according to family records, was Frederick Douglas. It is not known if Henry Hezekiah had any siblings.
