Newspaper account:

William F. Courtwright, 50, former resident of Greene County, was one of four persons killed when an automobile crashed headon with a moving van on the William Penn highway near Blairsville, Sunday night, May 24. Mrs. Pearl Courtwright, his wife, and her daughter, Alice, are in Indiana hospital, seriously injured, but neither is believed to be in a critical condition.
Mr. Courtwright leaves the following brothers and sisters: Floyd I. Courtwright, Washington; Lazear, Leroy and Harry Courtwright, all of Pittsburgh; Miss Etta Courtwright, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Mabel Carlisle, of Crafton; Mrs. Bertha DeBruen, Fredericksburg, Va.; and Mrs. Blanche Reynolds, of Jefferson. C. L. Rice, of Washington, is a half brother.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 0'clock in the Jones funeral home at Wilmerding. Interment was in the Homestead cemetery.
