Obituary of Scott J. Wood copied and sent by Anna Parry to Melva Wilbur -- "Scott J. Wood, age 64 years of Main St., West Alexandria, Pa., died Saturday, May 27, 1961, in Veterans Hospital in Butler, Pa., afrer a seven month illness. He was born Sept. 5, 1896, at Higbee, son of James and Annabelle Davis Wood. On July 1, 1918, he married Leota Shriver, sho survives. He attended the West Alexandria Methodist Church. He was employed for 25 years at the Wheeling Mould and Foundry at Wheeling, W. Va. He served in World War I, being a member of the American Legion Post # 656 of West Alexandria. Surviving in addition to his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Josephine Clark of Youngstown, Ohio, one son, Carl Wood, Claysville, Pa., three brothers, Floren and Glenn Wood of West Alexander and Donald Wood of Wheeling, W. MORRIS DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS WAYNESBURG -- Nov. 28. -- Mrs. Goldie Dell Wood Morris, 47, died this morning at 10 o'clock at her home, Holbrook, RD 2. Death followed a two-day illness and was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Morris, a daughter of James B. and Sara Annabel Davis Wood, was born on Long Run, January 26, 1892. She was married November 1, 1919, to T. Cleveland Morris, who survives. She spent her entire life in Greene County. Surviving, besides her husband, are four children, Mrs. Millard Stockdale, of Holbrook; Carlswood Morris, of Rockwood, and Helen and Harold Morris, at home; nine brothers and sisters: Mrs. Nellie Danley and Mrs. Fern Holmes, of Claysville; Scott Wood, Glenne Wood, Floren Wood and Mrs. Pearl Craig, of West Alexander; Donald Wood, of Wheeling, W. Va.; Mrs. Jessie Lough, of Norwich, O., and Mrs. Helen Clark, of West Virginia, and five grandchildren. One daughter is deceased. Mrs. Morris was a member of the Long Run Church of God. Short funeral services will be held in her home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, December 1, followed by services in the Valley Chapel Methodist Church, in charge of the Rev. F. H. Gerrett. Notes for CECIL HICKMAN: Obituary Cecil Hickman Cecil Hickman, 69, of Dunns Station, RD 2, died Tuesday, March 3, 1964, at 9:30 p.m. in the Washington Hospital. He had been seriously ill for the last few months. He was born February 23, 1895, at Delphene, a son of Arch and Mary Wood Hickman. Mr. Hickman was employed as a pattern maker for the Washington Mold and Foundry Co. for a number of years. He retired seven years ago. He was a member os Sunset Lodge F. & A.M. where he was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Shrine. He was a member of the West Union Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Cooper; two sons, Cecil, of Dunns Station, RD 2, and Bertram L., of Triadelphia, W. Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Ester [Sally] Marshall, Parma, Ohio, and Mrs. Edith Conklin, Dunns Station, RD 2. Also surviving are three brothers, C. Bertram and Stephen, both of Washington, and Phillip, of Claysville; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Bamberger, Marianna, RD., and Mrs. Ester Wiley, of Sycamore, RD 1, and 16 grandchildren. She was born November 22, 1924, in Stratton, Ohio, a daughter of Henry M. and Quinnie Sickles Cooper. On December 22, 1924, she married Cecil Hickmon of Dunns Station, who died March 3, 1964. Mrs. Hickman lived her early years in Weirton, W. Va., and spent the rest of her life in this area except for the last eight years when she was confined to White Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville. She was a member and elder of West Union Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Women's Missionary Society. Surviving are two sons, C. Neil Hickman of Dunns Station and Bertram Lee Hickman of Lore City, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Donald [Esther Jean "Sallie"] Marshall and Mrs. Robert Gene [Edith Rose] Conklin of Bedford, N.
