1. ELIJAH¹ COCHRAN was born Abt. 1815 in Pa ¹, and died Abt. 1880. He married ANNA WOLF², daughter of DANIEL WOLF and MARGRET [UNKNOWN]. She was born Abt. 1819 in Pa ^3,⁴, and died March 13, 1912 in Smith's Ferry, Beaver Co., PA ⁵.

      Obituary                                    Mrs. Anna Cochran

Woman Dies At Age of 105 Years. Mother of Mrs. Swager of New Galilee, Reaches Advanced Age.

At the remarkable age of 105 years, Mrs. Anna Cochran, who formerly resided near Darlington, died Wednesday night at her home near Smith's Ferry, PA. She was the oldest resident of this section of the country and probably of Pennsylvania. Death came after an extended illness, due to the infirmities of age.
Despite her years, Mrs. Cochran was remarkably well-preserved, as she did not wear glasses, and was able to sew,
The deceased was one of a family of 12 children, all of whom lived to be very old. All her brothers and sisters are dead, with the exception of Mrs. Mary Dillon of Klondyke, East Liverpool, O., who is 92 years of age. Her last brother Solomon Wolf, died about six months ago at the age of 88 years. The combined ages of these two sister and brother totaled 282 years.
Mrs. Cochran was born and spent much of her life in Darlington, PA., where she was widely known and loved. She had lived near Smith's Ferry for the past 40 years, spending most of that time on the same farm. Her manner of living and [sic had] always been of the simplest, and she always attended to her own housework as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by six children, 31 grand-children, and 18 great-grand-children. The children surviving are: Thomas, Peter, and John, all at home; Daniel of Dravosburg, PA.; Lige of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Lizzie Swager of New Galilee. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary Dillon. Mrs. Cochran was a member of the Smith's Ferry M. E. church. The interment is to be made at Long's Run cemetery.

Death certificate of Mrs. Mary Dillon, sister of Anna, lists parents as Daniel Wolf and Margret ?

Obituary of Mary Dillon state that she was born in extreme Northeastern Pa., moving to Westmoreland County and later to Beaver Falls, Pa.
