      Obituary                                    Elijah Cochran

Elijah Cochran, 86 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Lunsford, 208 Union street, at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon after a long illness.
He resided with his daughter for several years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the late residence. Interment will be made in Long's Run cemetery.

      John W. Cochran dies in Salem, Ohio

      John Wesley Cochran, 71, formerly of Smith's Ferry, died Friday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Veon, in Salem, Ohio.
      He leaves his widow and six daughters, Mrs. Stella Douds, New Brighton; Mrs. Lida Laughlin, Fallston; Mrs. Rose Rawson, Waverly, W. Va.; Mrs. Laura Baughey, Smith's Ferry; Mrs. Veon, Salem, and Mrs. Esther Powell, East Liverpool. He is also survived by two brothers, Pete Cochran, Smith's Ferry, and Thomas Cochran, Smith's Ferry.

Mrs. Margaret J. Cochran, 84, widow of John Wesley Cochran, died Saturday in her home at Smiths Ferry following a long illness. Mrs. Cochran was born in Pittsburgh, but had spent 70 years in the Southside district. She was a member of Smiths Ferry Methodist Church. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Stella Douds of East Liverpool, Mrs. Raymond Laughlin of Smiths Ferry, Mrs. Rose Rawson of St. Marys, W. Va., Mrs. Homer Veon of Salem, O., and Mrs. William Side, of Largo, Fla., and two brothers, Henry Hile and John Hiles both of Pittsburgh.
