I decided to develop a family tree record because my late father, Daniel Evans Douglas Jr., repeatedly showed me names of family members that were printed on some very old brown looking paper. If I remember correctly, the chart on the paper was organized like a decendants chart. I also received a lot of information from my late great aunt, Olamae Brown (Thompson), my mother Jennie Douglas (Hartley), my late grandmother, Thelma Douglas (McCray), and my aunt Brenda Douglas.
A lot of information told to me in the past, cannot be told to me now. Eventually there will be no other spoken words that can set this record straight. The only way to remember, or to pass what was witnessed, is to write it down in a record - Genealogy.
It is very important for each of you to send an email to advise me on necessary updates, or corrections to the family tree records. Most of the current records consist of only names. What is missing is content, i.e., date born, deceased, wives, partners, adopts, steps, notes, pictures, etc. I can record just about anything.
So, take those skeletons out of the closet and let it be known who you are, or who they are.

I will eventually host a family reunion. Meaning, older music to latest, open for all who are considered family (whether you are in the tree or not).
