Notes for John Love Keyser: John Love Keyser was a Private in the Sixth Regiment of the West Virginia Infantry Volunteers, from which he was discharged in June of 1865. He fought for the Union in the Civil War and his Brothers William and James were part of the Confederate Army. Family History has it that John helped his Brothers escape from a Union prison and then suffered his own imprisonment for that. ( added 11/05/2003)
