I am researching my ALLATON family, who were mainly from Suffolk, England.
My mother Kathleen Greta ALLATON was born on the 28th October 1917 at 71 Regent Street, Ipswich, Suffolk. England. Her parents were Herbert Stanley ALLATON (known as Stanley)and Florence Evelyn PARKER. I have a copy of Herbert's birth certificate - he was born on the 3rd April 1886, the residence is given as Cauldhall Road, Ipswich. His parents were Herbert Stanley ALLATON (whom my grandfather was named after) and Georgianna PEPPER. I have a copy of their marriage certificate, dated the 25th December 1881 in the Parish of St. John, Ipswich. This has given me the Fathers of Herbert and Georgianna.
Herbert,s father was David ALLATON, from the 1881 Census I found David (aged 53) married to Martha (aged 51) in Hutland Road, Ipswich. Herbert (Junior) was still living with his parents, his age given as U29, and I found he had a sister, Lavinia, whose age is given as U16. I am in the proccess of researching her.

To date I have no information on Florence or their marriage. I have just discovered a photo my mother has of her Grandad PARKER, I beleive it was taken in the 1930's. He appears to be a tall, thin man, with a moustache. He is walking three large black dogs (Cockerspaniels - I think) and he is near an archway, maybe under a bridge. I think the PARKER family lived in Norwich,
but I have not had any luck finding any leads on Florence.
