* The William Douglas Family Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

I am researching the William Woodson Douglas family. The first William Woodson Douglas was born September 17, 1862 in the vicinity of Franklin, KY. He died May 1, 1929 in Perry, GA. His father is believed to be named William Wallace Douglas. I have no further information on him. The second William Woodson Douglas was born in the vicinity of Nashville, Davison County, TN on June 29, 1901. He moved to Georgia with his family as a young adolescent. He died June 9, 1995 in Warner Robins, GA. The third William Woodson Douglas was born in Perry, GA on April 16, 1933 (that's me). I live in Warner Robins, Houston County, Georgia. My son, William Woodson Douglas III, was born December 22, 1960 and lives in London, England, presently. He has a son, William Woodson Douglas,IV who was born on April 25, 1989 who lives with his father in London.
I would appreciate any information on the first Willam Woodson Douglas, his father, William Wallace Douglas, and those persons listed below.

Other ancesters are:

Nellie M. Wright, wife of the first William Woodson Douglas, born in Toronto, Canada January 23, 1872.
Frank Henry Wright, father of Nellie, born in London, England.
James Niblett, father of my mother, Ruby Lucille Niblett. James was born in the vicinity of Jasper County, Georgia.
Patty Faulkner, wife of James Niblett, born in the vicinity of Baldwin County, Georgia.
