I am researching the MACKAY family from Dundee, Scotland. My grandfather William Allan MacKay was born in Lochee Dundee on 30 July 1892. We know he had at least four brothers, Harry, Alan, Jack & Douglas and two sisters Juliet and Daisy. We have so far been unable to trace details of his parents (although we do know his mother lived in Ure Street Dundee during WW1 and his fathers name was also William) or any other relatives. We believe that his brother Harry had a daughter called "Winga" born c1919 who later emigrated to Canada. Harry himself emigrated to Australia.We are also looking for STOCKS from Sculcoates, Lincs; SERGEANT's from Glanford Brigg, Lincs; ANSELL's from Grantham, Lincs, SHAWS from Spilsby, Lincs; LADDS from Boston, Lincs; PACEY's from Boston, Lincs & Nottingham and the MORLEY's from the Lincolnshire area of England.My family tree accends through all these names and I would like as much information as possible on all of them. I have managed to track back most of my direct tree for these names, exceot the MacKay's, to at least 1830's - but would like to go back further if possible.Any information would be appreciated. I am also very happy to share information I have.
