DOWNING~ROSE~GENERATIONS

Welcome!! I am currently researching the surnames: ROSE, PICKELSIMER, WEEMS, BALES, SUTPHEN, FRYMAN, PRICE, CLARKE, and QUICK on my side and the Pickaway County, Ohio surnames DOWNING, CHAMP, KIDNEY, JOHNSON, and STONEROCK on my husband's side. I'm also looking for information on the Meigs County, Ohio surnames of SCOTT, GILLILAND, CURTIS, WILLARD, BAILEY, and TUBBS and the surnames GLITT and ARLEDGE among others. Brief History:
Joe Brooklyn ROSE (1874-1947) and Nancy R. PICKELSIMER (1889-1980) came from N. Carolina to Loudon County, Tennessee near the turn of the 20th century and had a son named Paul Hubert ROSE (1918-1995) who married Helen Geraldine WEEMS of Greene County, Tennessee in 1942 and had a son named Ronald Paul ROSE who married my mother, Karen Sue SUTPHEN dau. of Eva Belle FRYMAN (1912-1989)and Francis Huntington SUTPHEN (1905-1984)and settled in central Ohio. I've traced the Sutphens back to John B. SUTPHEN (b.1808 NJ) who married Sarah Ann QUICK (b.1810 NJ) in NJ and settled in Fairfield County, Ohio in 1838 but haven't connected this line to its Zutphen, Holland origins. My grandma Helen WEEMS has a well documented family tree tracing back through David Hamilton WEEMS, son of Sir James WEMYSS of Bogie, Scotland and his ancestors St. Margaret of Scotland who married Malcolm Canmore, King of the Scots.
