Widows Declaration - Army Pension - Claim No. 283812: On January 31, 1885 Alelia L. Dougherty, widow of David Dougherty, who died at home near Graysville, Ohio on 12-8-1877 (note the death certificate of David it states 12-10-1877) died of disease of the lung. Alelia L. Dougherty states that she married David Dougherty on 10-6-1970 and states that her eldest child was born before marriage and was the child of her husband (David) and became legitimate by her marriage.
