| I am researching the Downeys of Carleton Co. New Brunswick CA. The descendents of John and Susan Downey. 1851 Census says that John came from Ireland in 1841. It is believed he came aboard "The Pallas" of Cork. I addition I am researching my Maternal side of the family - The Porters of Carleton County. Any information would be appreciated. |
