Aaron Hunnel & wife To (Deed) William Hoppis Know all men by these presents that we Aaron Hunnel and Mary Jane Hunnel wife of the said Aaron Hunnel formerly Mary Jane Hoppis of the Township of Porter, Scioto County and State of Ohio, in consideration of fifty dollars in hand paid by William Hoppis of the State, County and Township aforesaid, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, do hereby remise, release and forever quit claim unto the said William Hoppis his heirs and assigns forever, all our right, title interest and estate legal and Equitable in the following premises with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, situated in the Township County and State aforesaid described as follows (To wit) one equal undivided seventh part of the South East quarter of Section fourteen in township Two, of Range twenty, of the land directed by congress to be sold at Chillicothe, containing one hundred and nineteen acres and Eighteen hundredths of an acre, it being the undivided interest of the said Mary Jane Hunnel in the said quarter, as one of the heirs at law of John Hoppis deceased ~~~~~ in testimony where of the said Aaron Hunnel and Mary Jane Hunnel have hereunto set their hands and seals this fourth day of September in the year 1837. ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ In presence of Us Aaron M. He is listed on the 1810 Washington Co Va census age 16-26, with 1 female age 16-26, and 1 female age under 10. Note by Wade:Same census as Ruth his Mother \\ He is found on the 1820 Wythe Co Va census, note by Wade page 9, Evanshaw TS, Moses Hunnel with 1male age under 10, 1 male age 16-25, 1 male age 25-45, 5 female age under 10, 1 female age 16-25, 1 female age 26-45.\\ and the 1830 Lee Co Va census, but does not show up in census records again until 1870 in Smyth Co Va. He is listed in 1870 as blind and a veteran of the War of 1812. No further information is known about Moses. Note by Wade\\ 1870 Smyth Co, Va.
