Researching the following surnames: ERDAHL, HAMMER, WATELET, LARSON, LOTSBERG, GAVROY, HENRIQUET and BODE. Erdahl, Hammer, Larson and Lotsberg are from Norway, Last three are from Belgium.

Right now I am especially interested in the HAMMER line. Andrew was born 1854 in Gran, Oppland, Norway and came to Minn. in 1875. Andrew and wife Anna Hammer lived in various parts of Minn. from approx. 1875-1895 when they moved to Day County, South Dakota. Then in c1905 they moved and settled in Minot, North Dakota (Torning Township). Had seven children: Clara Martha Hammer born 1889 who married William Giles in Becker, Minn., then married Nels Erdahl in 1905 and moved to Canada in 1910. After Nels death Clara remarried a third time to Victor Fairfield. Josephine Louise Hammer who married twice, first to Andrew Eidahl, then to Patrick Gleason (both marriages were in Minot, ND. And Mary Hammer who married Bernt Lotsberg (I believe in SD). Have no info. on the other four children. Have hit a wall on Clara and would welcome any information regarding the surname HAMMER in the Minot, Ward County, North Dakota area.

Also interested in locating any descendents from the GAVROY line. My direct line came from Belgium, a small area around the towns of Florenville and St. Remy. It's a very uncommon name, so all inquiries would be welcome. Other Belgium names include Fery, Watelet (Wattelet/Wathelet), Henriquet, Bode.
