* The Guernsey Drakes & their origins*

This site includes details of Drake, Fanshawe, Carey and Durand families, together with as many illustrations as I have been able to obtain. The Durand Papers are held by the States of Guernsey Archives Dept and give a detailed history of this Huguenot clergy family since their escape from France in the late 17th Century. The portraits of the family, included on this website, are held in Candie Museum in Guernsey.
I would be interested to receive additional details of any individuals who are included.
