I am researching my family lines as well as my husband's. My main interest is in my direct lines -- with the surnames WILLENBRING, BACKES, KOTTKE, FAHNING, GEHRKE, all from Minnesota and Germany; KLOSTERMANN from Minnesota, Iowa, and Germany; and BOCK from Missouri and Germany.
Additionally, I am researching DRAKE, ALLEY, DUNCAN, VAIL, NOXON, REYNOLDS, and DE ST. LEGIER of my husband's line. They were from the Isle of Man, England (in the 1700s) and the state of New York. My mother in law graciously bequethed to me her research, and I have so far entered over 3100 names in another program.
