Looking for ancestors of William DRAKE.
Two cousins named William DRAKE married JOHNSTON sisters (Margaret and Agnes) on 26 Dec 1821 - Ireland. Both couples and children as well as the JOHNSTON sisters parents came to US in 1834. Date is known because William and Margaret had daughter (Jane) enroute. (Family bible info). The whole gang soon settled in Eastern OH. We are descended from William and Margaret.
Sibs of William and Margaret: Charles, Elizabeth, Robert, Mary Ann, Jane (Nancy), Sarah (Sally), Margaret, Sophia, John Wert, Lydia. We are descended from John Wert DRAKE. John Wert and Charles walked from OH to Richland Co, WI in 1854.
Margaret JOHNSTON parents are:
Robert JOHNSTON (b. 1767 - Co Down, N. Ireland, d. 7 Aug 1839 - Columbiana Co, OH) m. Elizabeth CARNES (b. 1771 Co. Down, N. Ireland, d. 18 Jan 1855 - Columbiana Co, OH). No marriage date. Childern info: Jane, Agnes, Margaret, Mary Ann, Robert, James Henry, Elizabeth R, Hugh Carnes, Sarah Carnes, Thomas.
Looking for ancestors of Robert JOHNSTON and Elizabeth CARNES.
