My family surnames include Drake, Gallin, Overmeyer, Goulding, Jackson, Holt and Healey. We trace back through Thomas Drake, the brother of Sir Francis. Also we trace to John George Overmeyer, who fought in the French and Indian War and in the Revolutionary War. I'm looking for information about all of these families. In general, they came from North Carolina, Virginia and Pennsylvania. |
