NOTES:
The first Federal Census 1790, of North Carolina, listed two DANIEL BALLS as head of families - One in Halifax District, Warren County, and One in Salissbury District, Iredell County. The Latter was enumerated with one female, one male under 16 years, one male over 16, and could have been Daniel Ball who went to Buncombe County. A William Ball was also enumerated in the same district of Iredell.

       Children of Daniel Ball*** and Elizabeth Osborn are:

  2 i.   Elsie2 Ball. She married Aaron Freeman , Jr..

+ 3 ii.   William Ball, born 1766; died 1844 in Wilkes County, North Carolina.

+ 4 iii.   Daniel Ball, born August 17, 1763; died September 29, 1844 in Town Branche then called Rye Cove.

  5 iv.   Osborne Ball, born 1779. He married Mary Harp.
