Surry County land entry book B, Page 13, Land grant from the State of N.C. - fifty shillings for every hundred acres - Joseph Myers (Miers), 1778.

Land Grant dated 1806, Book M, page 91, for 31 acres to John Myers on the Buck Shoals Branch adjoining the Lands of JOSEPH MYERS.

+ 7 iii.   Joseph Myers , Jr., born December 31, 1777 in Iredell County, North Carolina; died June 1859 in Wilkes County, North Carolina.

  8 iv.   Rebecca Myers, born 1779. She married William Jenson.

+ 9 v.   John Myers, born September 18, 1781; died March 11, 1853 in Mt. Vernon Springs Baptist Church, Iredell Co. N.C..
