"WISE MAN FROM IONIAN ISLANDS IN BALLARAT-VICTORIA - AUSTRALIA".
Known in Greece-Island of CORFU [KERKYRAS] as NATALE SPIRIDION GIORGIO 'ANGRI',arrived to Australia on board 'DINAPORE' ship in 1852 [Listed on Passengers Lists with Public Record Office Victoria 1852 - 1911 as 'Daneri' Natale, age 24 as first Greek Pioneer and soon after his arrival to Ballarat his dream became a reality with fortune, and miners branded him as :
" GOLDEN GREEK ".
For his remaining years of his Australian life the story began from this day on.
Soon after with a group of miners they discovered gold. Not long after after that lucky day, Natale and his Greek patriots, returned back to their homeland with a fortune that would help them in the future and even parhaps shared some of it with their close family and even including their friends, and that is all gratitude to 'Eureka Gold Fields' in Ballarat 1852 - 1855 colony of Victoria.

However wise Natale, was determined to take another shot with the arrow to 'Eureka ' and again embarked in Liverpool for the second time, on ship 'SCHOMBERG' in 1855 heading to Australia, and this time under slightly different surname kown as 'D'ANGRI '. Is there a ' Nobility to this name ?' Therefore, Natale became a settler in Ballarat and married a young English girl from 'Exeter' by the name 'Eliza', which he met on the voyage to Australia as she was also passenger with her mother and father on ship 'Schomberg'. Today his name is in the hearts of his living descendants in 'Golden City of Ballarat' right here in Australia.
To myself knowing his name, and his descendants, tracing their lives, 'I am privileged knowing the name of 'D'Angri and Angri'.
I am retracing the eventful life of all 'D'Angri' - 'Angri' families around the world.
Wise man 'Natale Spiridion Giorgio D'Angri inscribed the words to his tired body and deep in his heart, passing on his pride as a Greek, reminding us that we must not forget where the Worlds' best Philosophers were dreaming and predicting the future of our planet. With his own words, he left behind for us to remember him, with a small verse, which is still readable and visible even today on his framed grave, after 107 years when he departed from this world, his family and from Golden Ballarat, to the world of lasting peace with bright light shining for ever known to us, as 'Paradise'.

Natales' verse of his own his philosophy :

"DEFER NOT TILL TO MORROW BUT BE WISE
TOMORROW'S SUN ON THEE MAY NEVER RISE".

This wise man Natale, has left behind many secrets, unknown to his descendants here in Australia, including] to myself] especially in Ballarat perhaps even in Corfu Greece, U.S.A. and many parts of Europe.
'Up to date I have unlocked few of them.'
Research of this family began back in 1990 by Nalates' descendant Mr. William Thomas D'Angri, who than handed over all Private Archives to his brother Mr. Norman David D'Angri, and now everything is on my shoulders and my turn to do the finale of 'D'Angri' - 'Angri' and give you a very special Non - Fiction Book.

Many more researches are in progress especially in Corfu Greece, Ballarat and other parts of Australia, even U.S.A and around Europe.
One of the biggest question about this family is, if they belong to any 'Royalty' or do they hold or have rights to a 'Noble' title.... ?
According to 'Italian Historical Society' of Melbourne in their letter to Mr. William Thomas D'Angri, they are stating from their source of Information in Italy that D'Angri' is Noble name and is the Neapolitan branch of the Doria family, and are expressing their words in the letter in writing : 'Congratulations, you are a Noble'.
If this is positive identification by the 'Italian Historical Society', D'Angri name is connected to Marcantonio Doria, Principe, " Prince D'Angri" c. 1625. My hunting is continuing..............?
