| I currently have over 600 individuals in my family tree information, dating back into the 1700's. While I probably am still missing folks from the family, my goal now is to find out information on the more modern branches of the family. My branch of the family (George Washington Drybread) moved into the Independence, Montgomery Co, Kansas region. I think I have most of his children's names but what I don't have, is what happened to most of them, who they married, and their children. This branch of the family seemed to have splintered apart, I have no idea if or what might have caused it. Distances moved apart may have contributed although it seems there were other Drybread's that stayed in the area. As a child in the 50's, I remember a Drybread gentleman visiting our house from Chanute Kansas but as far as I know, no further contact was ever made. I have found snippets of information of other Drybread's, (William Drybread) that were in this area that moved to Wyoming and then on into Colorado but I have found nothing to indicate which branch they came from. There are other Drybreads in Missouri that I can not find links to that I would love to be able to include. There was another George Washington Drybread but was in Iowa, that comes from another branch of my family. I have traced some information but not much. Seems like years ago I have found a book in the Houston Library for the family Martindale, that were big in Quaker community but I lost all that information and may not even remember the last night correctly. If you have any information you can share or if I can supply any information to help you, please contact me at my email address. Thanks. Darrell A. Drybread |
