Land deeds of Nova Scotia seem to indicate a John Hall Sr. ( this John) and a Jr. It would seem it was the Jr. that went to Nfld. in the early 1800s.

In 1818 after the death of 2ed husband John Ford, petitioned the Crown for 220 acers at Lingan, NS. This land had been property of 1st Husband John Hall.
