This is a picture of a life-size bust memorial that is found at Lisburn Cathedral in Ireland.
Son of Jean Armand DuBOURDIEU (1683 - 1723) and Charlotte Massey. Born in England attended school at Trinity in Dublin, Ireland. Saumarez Dubourdieu served the French Church in Lisburn for forty-five years, and when it was closed he joined the Established Church as Rector of Lambeg. His popularity in the neighbourhood is evinced by the fact that his life is said to have been the only one that the Insurgents of 1798 had agreed to spare. He married a Mary Thompson in 1750 left three sons, John, Saumarez and Shem (My 4X great grandfather).
