Antonius Remich, born abt 1816-1829, died 9/2/1896. Married to Margareth Mutter (1817-1902). They had sons, Jacob Remich/Romich (1840-), John Remich/Romich (1843-), Michael Remich/Romich (1845-1925, all born Gross Jetscha, Hungary/Romania.

Michael married Susanna Ott(1850-1928). They had daughter Angela (1873-), Philip (1874-),Franz(1876-1957), John(1878-)

Franz Remich/Romich married Magdalena Wingeron (1879-1957)
They had two sons, Philip (1902-1963) and Johan (1908-1964). Johan married Barbara Minnich. Johan did not come to America. My grandfather is Philip(1902-1963) and came to the USA in 1923. He met my grandmother Eva Schneider in America. She was from Cirani (Mercydorf), Hungary/ Romania.

My grandparents Philip & Eva, spent the majority of their life in America in Philadelphia, PA. and had two sons, my father, Philip J. Remich 1925-1988) and his brother Joseph Remich (1927-1998). Philip married my mother Agnes Stahl Remich (1922-1987). From that union, came me, Helen Remich DUBAS (1946-)and John Philip Remich (1950-). Joseph Remich married Adele Carp and had two sons, Joseph and James.

Maternal Side..My gggrandfather was Mathias STAHL who was married to Katherine BERINGER/PERINGER, possibly of Bogarosh, Hungary. Their son Peter Stahl (1849-1930)married Elisabeth BUCHER(1854-1927)and had Peter, Jacob, Nickolas, John, Eva, and Adam Stahl. Adam Jacob Stahl was the baby (1893-1966), all were born in Bogarosch, Hungary.

Adam married Mary Wentzel and had three children, Adam, Henry and Elizabeth. Mary died during the influenza plague of 1918. Shortly thereafter, he married my grandmother, Catherine NISCHBACH Stahl (1899-1967). She raised the three children as her own, and together they had Catherine, Agnes (my mother), Peter and John.

Catherine Nischbach Stahl's father was Peter Nischbach(1876-1952), and her mother was Anna Maria GILLE(1877-1908). Peter and Anna Maria also had three other children, Mathias, Eva, and Elisabeth. Peter was from the village of Neubeschenowa and Anna Maria from Johannisfeld, however, ship documents indicate they resided in Obad, Hungary.

Anna Maria/Mariana/Mary Gille Nischbach died in Baltimore at John Hopkins Hospital in June 1907, six months after her arrival in America.
