I started doing my family tree July 1999, but already I have found a wealth of information. I am blessed to have some very helpful family members.

I found the parents of Edwin Fetzer and also the great grand parents of Anna Maria Gery and lots of descendents. I am posting the information I received. I found the tree information in a book called, "Genealogical Records of the Schwenkfelder Families" by Sam Kriebel Brecht,Published in 1923. Under the descendents of George Wiegner. There was lots of others listed in the book, but I wasn't allowed to copy the book so I did my best to get who I could as time allowed. I will be getting the rest of George Wiegner's descendents eventually.
Update: I went to the Swenkfelder library and there you are allowed to make copies from the books. I got a copy of the diary of the journey George Wiegner made from Germany to the U.S. and the map of their emmigration pattern. It was an exciting day!

Also I discovered my ggggrandfather and ggggrandmother were from Balfanz, Prussia, modern day Bailowas, Poland. My gggrandfathers name was John Charles Kleinschmidt until he changed his name to Kleinsmith. He was married to Amanda Fetzer and they had 11 children. John's parents were Johann Georg Kleinschmidt b. 22 August 1809 in the village of Balfanz, Prussia and Dorothea Klemtz. He was also married to Dorothea's sister. She died in 1844 and then Johann married her sister Dorethy Henrietta Klemtz in 1847. Johann and his first wife had 4 children, and with the second wife he had 8 children. You can see all there descendents under the Johann Georg Kleinschmidt descendent tree. If you have any information regarding Dorothea, her sister, John, Balfanz, or links to my information I would love to hear from you.

My most recent research has been in the DUBAS name. I have found some new information. Check out the tree below.

Thank you for visiting. Come again soon to check for updates!
