Who are the parents of Thomas Duckett???This Thomas Duckett married Catherine House in Bourbon Co. KY on June 21 1806. They moved to Clermont Co. OH and are found in 1820 census there. No death record or site has been found. There were eight children: Preston, b 1807 m Harriet Reed; Frances, b 1811 m John McGuire; Thomas, b 1814 m Sarah; Mary, b 1818 m Merritt; Andrew Jackson, b 1820 m Elizabeth Sheffy (my great great grandparents); Caleb, b 1824 M Mary Ann; America B., b 1827 m B. H. Hammatt; Oliver Cromwell, b 1829 m Matilda Markham. I have some sort of record for all of the children.I am also researching the Richard Alfred Uhalt family from New Orleans, LA. Richard Alfred Uhalt m Nona Onion and had three children: Verna Mae, b ca 1906, Alfred Hunt, b ca 1907; Helen Pauline, b 1908 (my mother). Richard Alfred's parents were Pierre Uhalt and Pauline Delord. The Delord Plantation in New Orleans is now Tulane University.I will be happy to share any information that I have. |
