| Hello, I’m Brian Duffey and I’ve been trying to find something on my grandfather, and great grandfather. My grandfather’s name was Roy and his father was James. I think James came over to Canada in 1800’s. He may have lived in Napanee, Ontario. James' wedding was in about 1882 Aug. 1st, and died in 1890-93. The story is that a train hit James, in Toronto, Ontario. This is the information that a cousin gave me. As for my grandfather, Roy, the date when he came to Michigan is a big question. He lived in a section of Detroit called Del Ray it was an Irish community. Roy married Martha Kerr on Dec. 30, 1916 in Detroit Mi. Roy & Martha had 4 children, Viginia, Russel, Margret, and my father Donald. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
