The George Duffield Family Home Page

I am searching for more information on and ancestors of John Duffield, who supposedly married Amy Dilkes, around 1760. John and his descendants in my lineage seemed to have migrated from just east of Philadelphia through Gloucester County, NJ, towards Bridgeton, Cumberland County, NJ. Other related people of interest are Jane M. Hoffman, Joseph Ellis, Mary Parent, Abigail Haley, William Van Hook, John Ackley, Sarah Coombs and various Townsends, Sharps, Corsons, Youngs, and Godfreys. All appear to have come from southern New Jersey.
On my mother's side of the family, I am trying to trace Thomases, Hales, Easters, Wades and Timerlings from the Franklin County and Roanoke areas of Virginia.
