THE DUFFORD FAMILY OF AMERICA

Obituary of Henry Clay Dufford. Born at Germantown, N.J., June 26 1833, died at his home in Oberlin (Kansas), Nov 6, 1920, aged 87 years, four months, and ten days. He cane to Illinois at the age of 17, where he engaged in farming,and was afterward married to Isabel Bridel, December 24, 1854. The Children of this union are Charles O., William H., Frank T., George R., Clarisa B., Alice M., Edgar L., also Delbert G. Way made his home with the family from early
childhood.
He came to Kansas in 1885, taking a homestead in what is now Sappa township, where he lived until some 12 years ago (1908) he moved to Oberlin where he has resided since.
