The Frank Duke family of Albany, Ga

Updated October 6, 2005

The following is an overview of my research. It is not complete and can be changed to reflect any discreptances. I tried to crossreference as much as I could. I wanted to find out as much about the Duke family, my ancestors as I could without spending a lot of time researching court houses. I used the internet for a lot of it. It has been an adventure to say the least. Enjoy the family history as much as I did in researching it.

Mrs. Mary Ellie Pitts has been a lot of help to me. She will be adding more info as time goes by from her many years of research.

Dad helped me out some when he was living in giving me the names of his Paturnal Grandparents. Uncle Roy and aunt Wisterlone were tremendous help in having a treasure trove of pictures and other family histories. They helped me contact Mrs. Mary thru. email.
Mom is always helpful with missing names in the family I have a very little idea who they are. Aunt Charley Mae was also a very helpful in many ways. I could name so many people that has helped me with this. I hope everyone will at least get some idea of where our families came from.
Cecil Frank Duke
