David L. Duke Home Page (Georgia Dukes)

I am creating a Family Tree for my family as a record for the future, a vehicle for research, and a means of communicating information between surviving family members. Basic area of research at this time is the families of my Grandfather and Grandmother on my fathers side, David Crawford Duke from Crawford County and Lavicey Clementine Duke from Taylor County, both in Ga. They were married in August of 1892, farmed in Crawford County, and had seven children; Melvin, Bennett Stewart, Gladys, Dewey, Cecil, Ethel, and Carrol. Dewey was my father and was born in 1898 in Crawford County. Primary names are Duke, Ayers, Clark, Wells.Primary location is Georgia (Crawford, Taylor, Worth, and Colquitt counties); in later years, many family members moved to Florida (Orlando area.)
