| John Joseph Dumbleton 5606 Kings Park Dr. Springfield,VA 22151-1107 (703) 978-7627 | I am just beginning to create the Dumbleton family tree and hope to follow shortly with Lebert, Flores and Caltabiano )my maternal roots and my wife's ancestors). My Great Great Grandfather came from England in the 1840's to settle in Kings County (Brooklyn) New York and all of his descendants remained in Brooklyn until I left in 1963.There is a village in England named Dumbleton (Worcestershire County) and I expect that my family tree will run through it somewhere along the way. The biggest question I have now is which town or city in England did my Great Great Grandfather (I believe his name is George, or possibly William)come from.I am planing a trip to Dumbleton in March 98 and I hope to be a lot smarter by then. Another objective I have is to link all of the Dumbleton genealogists on the Web, and I hope this web page can begin to do that. I currently live in Springfield, Virginia, and would be thrilled to hear from other Dumbleton's (as well as Lebert's, Flores', and Caltabiano's) |
