LAND DEED, January 11 1859 This indenture made and entered into this eleventh day of January, one thousand and eight hundred and fifty nine between Elihu Duncan of the County of Lyon and the State of Kentucky and L. D. Parks of the county and state aforesaid,________ that for and in consideration of one hundred and twenty five dollars ________and paid by the said L. D. Parks to the said E. C. Duncan hath this day bargained and with this receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and by these _________ do bargain, sell and convey a tract or parcel of land in Lyon County, Kentucky on the ___________of Lick Creek ___________ as bottom towit. Beginning at a black oak in Thomas's line thence 102 holes to Isaac Riley's corner thence with said Rileys' line South 26 E 56 poles to spanish oak his corner and also Eli corner thence with E C line 61 East 84 poles to the beginning containing sixteen by ____________. To have and to hold the above stated tract in family if land with all things appertaining thereas to the said L. D. Parks his heirs and assigns forever, and the said E. C. D. On his part doth hereby after to warrant the tract or parcel of land to the said L. D. Parks and his heirs forever in testimony. Where of i the said E. C. Duncan have hereunto to set my hand and seal this day and date above mentioned. E. C. Duncan I A. H.
