| Charles Filbert Duncan born June 3, 1889 in St Joseph Missouri is where we Duncan's are so far.Only clue we have on Charles's where abouts before having his own family is he knew on seen Frank James when he was a boy. So that leads us to either Clay County Missouri or St Louis Missouri. So far I haven't found out anything on him even there. He Married Mary Ambrose March 9,1910 in Multnomah County Oregon and lived most of his life in Oregon raising 13 children. Both now rest at Mt Calvary with many of there children including 3 infants. I have tried to find him on early census records here in Oregon but I haven't found him there either. The death certificate listed everything as unknowen. We did find Mary's mother Katharine Lipenskie also buried at Mt. Calvary in Portland,Oregon. Gilbert Chamberlain was born in NY, lived in Mo. NJ.Kansas, Illinois . Raised his family in Oregon. Married Elizabeth Denby in 1864 in Minnonk Illinois. Is belived that his mother was of French ancestry. Has been found in Missoris Census under the name of Bill with father in law listed as Danby, would love to have informaton on this. He was Postmaster in Duckworth now Elmira Oregon in 1884, Family thinks Gilbert died in the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. His son Richard died in Kansas at 2 months on age. Looking for Shew's and Thomas from Iowa.Also looking for Shew connections in Ohio with David Edwins father David, Shew's have connections to Martins, Edsall and Harris familys. David Edwin was born in Iowa in 1866. Morris Started with George Judson Morris and Ronda Lucilla Robbins. Dad belives they ran a Hotel in Roseburg Oregon area in the 30's. My Grandmother Elizabeth Morris/Chamberlain is at peace in Roseburg Oregon. Where she died leaving a 15 month old son who wonders about his Moms family and what his Mom was like, his Dad wouldn't talk about Grandma. My Dad Kenneth was that baby who never really new his Mom. Illinois is where we know where the Morris's started. Parents of George Judson Morris was Mary Carnes and John Robert Morris (alas)True name was John Turner Morris. Last heard most of the family ended up in Southern California. My husbands looking for Lumans from Montana. Edwin Pollock another from St. Joseph Missouri, Railroad family we were told. Did find family with the Brooke and Lumans. The Shews also have a Minnie Lacey Edsall daugther of Margaret Lacey Harris and Robert Edsall. Grandaugther or John Edsall.Robert Edsall was from Canada and the Thomas's have a Minnie Jones. Also looking for Denby, Rice, Bushnell, Ollivant,Pettingell, Wawrowski, Lipenskie, Ambrose, Robbins and many more.
