Cheryl Dunn's Family Home Page

Currently, I am researching my ALABAMA ancestry and my maternal Grandfather's ancestry. My ALABAMA ancestry surname is DUNN. I can only trace back to Rich Dunn (paternal g-father's father, born sometime in the mid-1800's.) They were from Fort Payne, ALABAMA, in DeKalb County. I am told he was Dutch & Irish, maybe second generation. I would like to find out where my ancestors came from abroad.
My MARYLAND ancestry, maternal g-father's surname is LEMMON. I have been able to locate the names of all 4 brothers, but need information on their parents. They were all born in the Baltimore City area of Gay Street, near Broadway, in the 1890's and early 1900's. I have been told they are French.
