| I AM SEARCHING FOR THE DECENDANTS OF CHARLES DUNCAN AND MARGARET GRANT FROM INVERAVON BANFFSHIRE SCOTLAND. They had a daughter Elizabeth born 1835 and a son (my great grandfather) Alexander born 1837. Alexander married Hellen Douglas born 1841 in Inverness Scotland. Alexander and Hellen had 6 sons and one daughter Alexander was a Mason Contractor in Edinburgh and his partner was my maternal Great Grandfather Walter Henderson who was born in Dumfries. Walter married Jane Bell Murray also born in Dumfries. Walter and Jane had 4 sons and 3 daughters Jane died in 1883, and in 1885 Walter married Elizabeth Roddick. Walter and Elizabeth had one son and two daughters.Alexander and Walter lived in on Eden Lane in a House called Harmony Villa. |
