| I am researching the names: Dawson and Whitmire.The Dawsons were from Arkansas. Louise Benton Dawson was my great grandfather. He was Sheriff of Faulkner County Arkansas. He married Vera Ethel Lesley. They had 5 children: Lesley, Madge, Lois, Paul and Iris. If you have any information I appreciate the help. The Whitmires were from Texas (as far as I know). My Grandfather was Fielden Calloway Whitmire. He married Anna Stephenson. Her maiden name was Meineke. (I don't know her father's first name.). But her mother was Augusta Schmidt. I don't have much information on this side of the family. I would be happy to share the information I do have with anyone. |
