Presently researching the Duncan family tree, with earliest known ancestor being Alexander Duncan, born Kincardineshire about 1765. He married Christian Sherret in Durris, Kincardineshire on 13 September 1788. He died in the latter half of 1800, prior to the birth of his youngest son Robert on 29 January 1801.
