| I am looking for information on my gggrandparents Joseph C Simpson (b 1819 AL) and Susan Hogan (b 1825 AL). They had 12 children, the first 7 born in Alabama; the remaining 5 in Texas. The were located in Chambers Co TX in the 1860 Census. In the 1870 Census they are in Fayette Co TX and the 1880 Census has them in Gonzales Co TX. My ggrandparents, William Henry Simpson (b 1841 AL), and Asberry America H M Middleton were married April 1, 1861 in Woodville,Tyler Co, TX. William Henry died in 1878/79 but we have be unable to determine location or date of death. He left 5 children, the youngest of which was my grandfather, Jesse H Simpson, who was born in Oct 1878. My ggrandmother, Asberry, married Frank Clark (b abt 1830 in Ireland) in 1880 and they had 3 sons. My grandparents, Jesse H Simpson (b Oct 5 1878 TX), and Lucy Katherine Collier (b May 13, 1881 TX)were married Dec 3, 1899. They lived in Travis & Williamson Counties TX and are buried in New Hope Cemetery, Cedar Park TX. My parents were Denton Elvin Simpson (b Nov 6 1901 TX)and Elvie Vera Simpson (b July 12, 1905 TX). They also are buried in New Hope Cemetery, Cedar Park TX. Any information relating to these families would be appreciated and I would be willing to share/exchange any information I have. |
