Notes for Robert Pease, Jr.:
From the book "The Complete Book of Emigrants 1607-1660" by Peter Wilson Coldham is the passenger list for the ship "Francis" of Ipswich. The ship left Ipswich England April 30 1634 and arrived in Salem Massachusetts. On the list of passengers is Robert Pease who is traced by LDS files to the present Pease family of descendents of Clarence and Asa Pease. Most of the information of the early Pease families comes from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints records. There are many books written on the early Pease families. One book written by the Reverend David Pease, in 1869, gives some early history of the family settling in Salem, Massachusetts, Marths's Vineyard, Massachusetts., and Enfield, Connecticut.
November 1634: Sailed with his brother John on the ship Francis from Ipswich arriving at Boston late in 1634.
1637, Salem: mentioned as having land in the early Salem Town Record. "Robert Pease and his brother"
