Find Family

This website features the results of my research into the history of the Duncans of Beaver County and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as well as the Wallaces, also of Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

In addition, I have included geneological information relating to various families that have married into the family, including information relating to the Olsens of Iowa, the Reginas of East Strousberg, Pennsyvlania, and other earlier in-laws of our Duncan and Wallace ancestors, such as the Deans and Hunters.

The starting point for this research was family records originally prepared by F.C. Duncan at some time during the 1970s. Much of the Wallace information came from the same source, supplemented by newspaper articles, personal recollections from living family members, and obituaries. These have been supplemented and sourced by reference to U.S. census records, which have largely substantiated the data recorded by F.C. Duncan. I have also make use of some other online geneological sources, and published Wallace Geneologies.

While I have strived for accuracy, I cannot be certain that I have always achieved this goal. I will be updating this webiste from time to time, and if you have any information of relevance, please feel free to contact me.
